Tough Mudder 2014

On Saturday, July 12th, four Whiting staff members took part in the Tough Mudder endurance test held at Boughton House in Kettering.

Chris Ogden, Ian Collins, Matt Murphy and Rich Spear all completed the notoriously rigorous obstacle course which features climbing, log and water challenges among others – and lots of mud!

Battling across 12 miles of farmland terrain this military style course is designed to test both mental and physical strength as well as stamina and fitness. It aims to promote teamwork and camaraderie through adversity and the course included navigating greased monkey rings, electroshocks and icy water.

All four finished with a great time of 3 hours 40 minutes, only stopping on the way home to pick up an extra large box of washing powder! Well done lads!
