Lauren joined Whiting Landscape in April 2021 as a Business Administration Apprentice where she works 75% of the week in the office and 25% on her Level 3 Business Administration course on campus. It is great for the business to have an Apprentice on board, bringing new ideas, a fresh perspective, and a willingness to learn to gain ‘hands on’ practical experience. We asked Lauren for feedback on how she is settling in, and she shared her thoughts with us:
‘I am thoroughly enjoying working with Whiting Landscape. They have enabled me to grow not only within the company but also as a person. The support I am continuously given is outstanding and I can see a very bright future here. I believe it is the best decision I ever made applying for an Apprenticeship and feel I have landed on my feet with this company. I have always been keen on the idea of Architecture from a young age, but the landscaping sector has opened my eyes to many more career avenues.’
