All of us here at Whiting Landscape are deeply saddened by the recent events in Ukraine. We wanted to find a way to show our support during this very awful time for them. In order to do this, we found a local Church – Bromsgrove Baptist Church, who are working in connection with Barnabus fund. The local Church are taking donations and transporting them to Swindon, which are then shipped over to Ukraine to help those in need.
Over the past few weeks our staff have rallied together to donate valuable supplies they need such as blankets, warm clothing, tinned food, and energy bars. We have gathered two large donations, the first of which was taken directly to the church. The second, staff volunteered to fill one of our vans full of donations from both staff and donations that where made to the church and drive them to Swindon.
The entire team at Whiting Landscape hopes that the help and donations from staff will positively enable those people suffering from this humanitarian crisis within Ukraine when they need it the most.
